What BetNeptune is
BetNeptune says it launched in 2020. It is a sportsbook first: the promotions page is all football, NFL and accumulators. The casino and live-dealer tabs share the same balance, so you don’t have to move money between wallets.
For Kiwi punters, the question is market depth. Football and US sports were the focus of the promotions when we checked. If rugby, league or cricket is your main sport, open the sportsbook and look at the markets before you deposit.
The welcome, as BetNeptune wrote it
The promotion page advertises a first-bet free bet: deposit at least $10 and bet $10 to get a one-off $10 free bet at minimum odds of 1.5, stake not returned, valid for 7 days, with winnings wagered once and capped at $200.
BetNeptune’s general terms, which also apply to every bonus, say free-bet bonus funds convert only after 10 times wagering. A welcome can’t have 1x and 10x wagering at the same time, so we have left the figure off this site until the operator makes its documents agree. Don’t let it decide whether you join.
What else was running
When we checked, the promotions were a UEFA Nations League cashback (football bets only), an NFL London Games free bet (opt-in, $20 minimum deposit and $20 of qualifying bets), Weekend Sports Cashback, Bet Builder and an Acca Super Boost (3+ legs at minimum odds of 1.5 each, boosts winnings by up to 100%).
The acca boost terms we saw were written in pounds (a £5 minimum and a £10,000 maximum win) while the rest of the page used dollars. That suggests the copy was shared with a UK site, so check how the boost works on your own account before you rely on it.

Cashier and withdrawals
BetNeptune uses the same general terms as its three sister sites, so these cashier rules apply word for word. Check which payment methods open for a New Zealand account when you sign up.
- Withdrawal pending
- Cash-out requests show as "Pending" for 3 business days, and you can cancel them during that time.
- Withdrawal caps
- €3,000 per week and €6,000 per month per account.
- ID checks
- Required once your deposits and withdrawals combined reach €2,000 across the operator’s network.
- Bonus-excluded deposits
- Deposits made with Skrill or Neteller are excluded from all bonus offers.
- Restricted countries
- The list includes Australia, the United States and a long run of European countries. New Zealand is not on it.
Who it suits, and who should skip it
Good fit
- Football and NFL punters
- Players who want sport and casino on one balance
- People who ignore welcome offers anyway
Look elsewhere if
- Rugby-only punters, until you have checked the markets
- Anyone who wants a printed welcome figure
- Anyone who wants a New Zealand-licensed site
Our verdict
BetNeptune is a sensible sportsbook-plus-casino with an established platform behind it. Judge it on its markets and on how your first withdrawal goes, not on the welcome, which its own documents describe two different ways.
BetNeptune questions
Can New Zealanders open a BetNeptune account?
New Zealand is not on BetNeptune’s restricted-territories list, and it is on the partner programme’s country list. We haven’t tested sign-up from a New Zealand connection.
Why is there no BetNeptune welcome offer here?
The promotion page says free-bet winnings need 1x wagering. The general terms say free-bet funds need 10x. We hold the figure until those match.
Is BetNeptune good for rugby?
The promotions we saw were football- and NFL-led. Check rugby market depth in the sportsbook before you fund the account.
